Formula 1 continues to race in China September 30, 2017 While Sepang International Circuit is hosting its last race, the FIA confirmed another 3 years in China at the Shanghai International Circuit. Just 2 weeks ago after confirming Singapore, China continues to stay on the calendar. Mercedes AMG team manager Toto Wolff commented: ” As we are partner with Petronas and have several meetings a year in Malaysia, it became our second home track and we certainly will miss the stop here at Sepang. For China – it is an important market and all brands are interested in the Chinese Audience. ” As gerneral interest in Motorsport has been decreasing the last years, the last race certainly boosted interest to the audience and filled most seats at the Sepang International circuit – even during practice. Lets hope for an exciting race here at Sepang Circuit for the last time and remember the humid and unpredicted weather at Sepang International circuit.
