” I’m excited to go back to Europe, i m quiet happy with racing in Asia with Audi R8 LMS cup, but Blancpain GT Championship is a very competitive race series and i m looking forward to see how i can perform within world class drivers. Racing with Phoenix Racing is very good for my racing experience, as they are a professional team. After racing against Edoardo Mortara in Sepang 2 weeks ago, Phoenix approached me and now i m going to Budapest.”

Alessio had an outstanding performance at Sepang, where he battled tight with former F1 driver Alex Yoong and also tied for the lead with him after 6 races in this season. This years Audi R8 LMS Cup is competitive then ever and its also a fight between the younger generations and the long time champions of Audi R8 LMS Cup.
